HOW TO
MEASURE

Below we've included some hints and tips on taking your own measurements. It can be tricky, especially if you've never done it before. So if you find you're struggling, just reach out - we're be happy to help!

MEASURING YOUR WAISTLINE

When measuring your waist, you want to measure the narrowest part of your waist.

Everyone is different, but for a lot of people this section will be around an inch or 2 above the belly button!

We recommend measuring firstly in centimetres. If you have a double-sided tape measure, you should be able to see what your measurement equals to in inches on the opposite side. If you are between inches, we recommend going for the larger measurement.

*Make sure the tape measure is tight but not digging into your skin, remember you're measuring for clothing - so you need to be comfortable!*

MEASURING YOUR HIPS

For measuring your hips, you want to measure the fullest/widest part of your hips. This could be the upper hip or lower hip depending on on your body shape.

It's important that you take the largest measurement to ensure that the widest part of your hip will fit comfortably into tighter clothing like trousers or a fitted dress.

If you are between measurements, its always safer to go for the larger measurement.

*Don't measure too tightly, remember you're measuring for clothing - so you need to be comfortable!*

MEASURING YOUR BUST

Similar to the hip measurement, you want to be placing the tape across your chest, measuring the fullest part of your bust. Make sure that the tape measure is flat and level all the way around. We advise fully exposing your upper half to do this for the best results. Measurement taken with clothing and bra still on will be inaccurate.

If you are ordering Custom Lingerie, you will need to measure your under bust as well. This is usually the numeric part of your bra size (e.g. 34C)

If you are between measurements, go for the larger measurement.

*Don't measure too tightly, remember you're measuring for clothing - so you need to be comfortable!*
